Music Remote is made for the most well-known browsers. It lets you control music players by typing any web browser commands directly in your browser, no longer having to open a separate window to do that.
To activate the extension, simply download it from the Google Play Store.
Once installed, you can easily create a global hotkey.
In Google Chrome, this is done by going to Chrome://hotkeys in the browser. In Firefox, this is done by clicking on the Tools menu and then on New Keyboard Shortcut.
When a hotkey is created, it will appear in the Hotkey panel in the bottom-right corner of the browser.
When it is pressed, it will call the selected music player.
